
Step 1: Determine Eligibility

Step 2: Collect Required Documents

Step 3: Access the GST Portal
Step 1 – Go to GST portal. Click on Services. Then, click on the ‘Registration’ tab and thereafter, select ‘New Registration’

Click on Proceed, Enter the two OTPs received on the email and mobile or the PAN-linked contact details. Click on Continue. If you have not received the OTP click on Resend OTP.

Step 5: Receive Application Reference Number (TRN)
After submitting Part A, you’ll receive an Temporary Reference Number (TRN) on your registered mobile and email. Use this number to proceed to the next step within 15 days.

Step 6: Fill Part B of the Form
Log in to the GST portal using the TRN.

You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile and email or PAN-linked contact details. Enter the OTP and click on Proceed

You will see that the status of the application is shown as drafts. Click on Edit Icon

Complete Part B of the registration form by uploading the required documents. Make sure all details are accurate.

Step 9: Download and Print GST Certificate
Upon approval, download and print your GST certificate. This certificate is proof of your GST registration and should be prominently displayed at your place of business.
Step 10: Commence GST Filing
Start filing your GST returns as per the prescribed schedule. Ensure timely compliance with GST regulations to avoid penalties.
